Kayleigh Walsh joined Viola Law Firm as an Associate Attorney in August 2014. She has practiced family law exclusively for more than a decade, and she has been consistently recognized as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2018-2022, a recognition only awarded to the top 2.5% of up-and-coming lawyers in California. Kayleigh is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.
Kayleigh’s practice is driven by her commitment to her clients during what can be an extremely difficult time in their lives. She works with her clients to ensure that their needs are met, and they feel secure throughout their representation.
Kayleigh draws on her experience to help her clients resolve the difficult personal and financial issues they may face throughout the dissolution process. She frequently works with financial and other experts to ensure that her client’s interests are protected. represents a wide variety of Bay Area clients and handles all aspects of Family Law cases, including high asset and financially complex issues, spousal support, child support, domestic and international relocations (“move-aways”), property characterization and division, domestic violence, and child custody and visitation issues. Further, she has been successful in seeking and obtaining significant attorney fee awards for her clients. Kayleigh also drafts and negotiates premarital agreements, post-marital agreements, and cohabitation agreements for her clients and litigates those agreements when necessary.
Kayleigh’s primary goal is always to assist her clients in reaching a beneficial settlement, but she is highly skilled and effective in contested proceedings in both the public courts throughout the Bay Area and private adjudication, when settlement is not possible.
Regardless of the nature of the situation, Kayleigh continually strives to maintain compassion and dedication. She has an awareness of the individual challenges for each case and client and creates a plan for the most effective and efficient path to resolution.
While attending Santa Clara University, Kayleigh earned the Certificate of International Law with a focus on international business, human rights, and criminal issues requiring advanced studies, high level research and writing, and study abroad.
When she is not in the office, Kayleigh enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two girls.
